Favorite Family Christmas Traditions

Manger scenes prominently displayed in every room remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.  Jesus came to this broken world because of His unquenchable love.  He chose to love us, rejected the comforts of His home.  His heavenly Father gave Him to us, the greatest gift imaginable.  We surround ourselves by what truly matters rather than what the world clamors for us to embrace as Christmas.  Jesus came to give life and amazing grace.

Probing my children’s creative minds, we listed our favorites for this celebration of Jesus’ birth.  Their hearts understand the gift of Jesus, and it’s beautiful to see their desire to allow Him to embrace their entire lives.  It’s my responsibility and privilege to point them to the Savior who came to live, die and live again for each of us.  We desperately need Him in our lives.
